Energy conservation – NIR coatings

Kriya’s Near Infrared coating is a medium-high solids, solvent based, low viscosity UV and/or thermal coating which is suitable to be applied with typical roll-to-roll machines. When cured,  the coating results in a highly transparent window film with low haze and excellent solar heat blocking properties based on Near Infrared absorption. This coating is useable for window film application in e.g. automotive and construction. Visible and NIR transmission can be tuned for the application.

For architectural glass, our coating is a drop in solution which allows the glass manufacturer to offer a custom tuneable NIR blocking property and enhanced VLT levels over sputtered glass, with having the aesthetic benefit of normal glass as well.

Visible and Infrared transmission tuneable via dry film thickness.

Visible light transmission tuneable via extinction coefficient
