Kriya Materials offers masterbatches for the production of transparent solar heat control films and sheets.

The dispersibility of Kriya’s masterbatch in your polymeric resin is optimized in such a way that high clarity and low haze films  and sheets can be produced. The uniqueness of this technology is proven as low haze films can be made with a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) as low as 0.2, blocking 99% of  infrared light.

These masterbatches are ready-to-use for existing processes hence do not require any processing changes. These products are used for machine guards, polymeric interlayer films for glass applications and window films for instance.

Solar heat control masterbatch

Kriya’s masterbatch contains our solar heat blocking technology maximizing the transmission of visible light, while blocking infrared light as much as possible. In contrary to other heat blocking technologies, such as sputtered glass, Kriya’s masterbatch offers a truly transparent glass solution with a natural colour tone, does not block any radio signal such as 5G or similar.

With one masterbatch, the darkness and solar heat gain of the end film can be tuned easily, to any desired heat control performance, as low as a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.2. This makes an unique and broad product portfolio possible.
