Kriya Materials has developed a masterbatch for the production of solar heat control interlayer glazing films.
The dispersibility of Kriya’s masterbatch in your polymeric resin is optimized in such a way that high clarity and low haze films can be produced. Next to that, our masterbatch has proved to be a drop-in-solution for existing processes hence does not require any CAPEX.
Solar heat control masterbatch
Kriya’s masterbatch is a liquid solution which contains our solar heat blocking technology while maximizing the transmission of visible light as much as possible. In contrary to other heat blocking technologies, such as sputtered glass f.e, Kriya’s masterbatch offers a truly transparent glass solution with a natural colour.
Next to that, Kriya’s solar heat control master batch is as a drop-in-solution for PVB manufacturers. It can be used as a simple additive during PVB manufacturing, hence no changes in equipment or processing are required.

With one masterbatch, the darkness and solar heat gain of the end film can be tuned easily, to any desired heat control performance, up to a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.2. This makes an unique and broad product portfolio possible.
