Yellowing Prediction

Bracket long-term Δb* yellowing for a substrate and stabiliser strategy.

Inputs are substrate (PET k=0.010, PC 0.050, PMMA 0.020, TAC 0.030, Glass 0.001), UV irradiance W/m² (0–500), duration years (0–20), stabiliser package (None 1.0 / UV 0.4 / HALS 0.6 / UV+HALS 0.2), and duty cycle %. Computes dose = irradiance × duty/100 × years × 31.536e6 / 1000 kJ/m² and Δb* = k × stab × √dose. Classifies invisible/borderline/visible/obvious against a 1.0 ΔE threshold and renders a colour-coded severity bar.
