Rheology Estimator

Predict suspension viscosity and flow regime from solids loading.

Inputs are volume fraction φ (0–0.7 slider), solvent viscosity η₀ in cP, and morphology (Spherical φmax 0.64, Rod 0.45, Plate 0.55). Computes η_rel = (1 − φ/φmax)^(−2.5 φmax) and η_abs = η₀ × η_rel. Regime is classified Newtonian / mildly shear-thinning / shear-thinning + yield-stress / jammed, with one-line processing notes.
