Ambient Contrast Calculator

What a display's contrast actually becomes once the room is lit — counting every reflecting surface above the emitter, not just the front one.

Combines the reflectance of every interface above the emitter incoherently, adds the module residual that no front-surface coating can reach, and reports ambient contrast, veiling luminance, and the panel luminance needed to hit a target ACR. Includes an illuminance-preset bar chart on a logarithmic axis so day, shade and direct-sun cases sit on the same figure. Direct sun is 110,000 lux — not 20,000.
