ATO in PVB passes 2,000-hour accelerated weathering test
A Tier-1 PVB interlayer manufacturer
Kerncijfers
01
De uitdaging
Before committing to production integration, the Tier-1 PVB interlayer manufacturer required long-term durability validation of ATO nanoparticles in PVB under accelerated weathering conditions. Automotive glazing must maintain optical and thermal performance for the lifetime of the vehicle.
02
Onze aanpak
Kriya ATO in PVB samples were subjected to 2,000-hour accelerated weathering per automotive industry standards. Optical properties (transmission, haze, SHGC) and mechanical integrity were measured at intervals throughout the test programme.
03
Het resultaat
All samples passed the full 2,000-hour accelerated weathering protocol with no significant degradation of optical or thermal properties. Haze remained below 0.3%, and NIR blocking performance was maintained. The results validated ATO-PVB as production-ready for automotive glazing.
Waarom Kriya
Kriya’s bottom-up synthesised ATO nanoparticles are inherently more stable than ball-milled alternatives because the controlled synthesis produces uniform particle size with consistent surface chemistry.
