課題
The automotive OEM faced escalating EU CO₂ penalty exposure exceeding €800M for 2025, driven by fleet-average emissions above regulatory targets. Reducing AC power consumption through solar heat control glazing offered a pathway to eco-innovation credits and meaningful fleet-average CO₂ reduction.

アプローチ
Kriya’s ATO-based solar heat control was evaluated using Calculation Model 887, validated at r² = 0.999 against Grundstein et al. field measurements. The model calculated interior temperature reduction, AC power savings, and resulting EV range extension for both premium and compact vehicle segments.

成果
Integration of Kriya ATO glazing delivered 9°C interior temperature reduction, 35% AC power reduction (from 1.44 kW to 0.93 kW), and up to 16 km EV range extension in the premium segment. Total solar transmittance was reduced to 41% while maintaining acceptable visible light transmission.

Kriya ATO is 100% 5G/RF/LiDAR transparent (unlike ITO), costs approximately 60% of ITO, and the bottom-up synthesis achieves automotive-grade haze that top-down competitors cannot reach.
