Kriya Materials is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with diverse abilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Standards

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Measures taken

• Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
• ARIA labels on all interactive elements and navigation landmarks
• Keyboard-navigable interactive tools (RI Explorer, Calculation Model 887, Coating Stack Designer)
• Sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for text)
• Skip-to-content link for keyboard users
• Responsive design that supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content
• Form labels and error messages associated with input fields
• No content that flashes more than three times per second
• Language attributes set correctly for multi-language support

Interactive tools

Our interactive calculation tools support keyboard navigation including arrow keys for slider adjustments, Tab for focus management, and screen reader announcements for computed results. Data visualisations include text-based alternatives.

Known limitations

While we strive for full compliance, some areas may have limitations:

• Complex SVG charts in the coating stack designer may not convey all information to screen readers — text summaries are provided as alternatives
• Some PDF technical documents may not be fully tagged for accessibility
